Copper Shade Tree, an American fine craft destination located in the heart of
Round Top, Texas, displays a delightful collection of decorative and
functional crafts, all handmade by American artisans. In addition, six
events are scheduled throughout the year, to showcase a wide range of
fine craft mediums. The artwork consists of over 80 artists from across
the state and some from across the USA. Two-thirds of them are from within a 150 mile radius of
Round Top. The gallery has a number of artists that are national award
winners, many have appeared on various television shows, many have been
published in local, national, and international publications. It is with deep passion, that we educate the public in terms of the different mediums and techniques used to create crafts in America, that will last many lifetimes. Gerald's Studio is located next to the gallery, where you will find other artists creating their artwork. "The Art in Fiber 2012"February 4th - - March 4th, 2012 - This popular show is returning for another spectacular year. The 2012 show is an invitational show that will focus on the works of 21 fiber artists from across Texas.
