There are 6 fully-completed black cocktail dresses in silhouettes from Hollywood's Golden Era. Each is named for an iconic screen star that reflects her style. Included are: Audrey, Lana, Rita, Susan, Veronica, Ave, Elizabeth, Grace, and Sophia. The dresses have been designed and patterned in the manner of haute couture and the fabrics are those that would be full-sized dresses. The silhouetts, fabrics, and embellishments direct our attention to the visual and sensual elements of design, that reminds us how handcraft enriches our lives.
