These fern leaves and lemons played host to a session of vegetable stamping with fabric paints. I added tucks to the fern veins and sewed on tiny green glass beads to simulate spores on the leaves. After thread-play, on the lemons' surfaces, machine trapunto added fullness to the fruit halves. Corded trapunto accentuated the fern tendrils and more glass beads were added for sparkle.
